Townshend “Isolates” using steel springs while Live Vibe directly couples via Brass and a rigid mount system. This video is a comparison of MATERIAL BUILD ONLY. In other words, what material you receive for your money. It’s a way to help us value whats at hand. In my opinion, and I feel it’s clear to see, Id say Townshend is more of a “commercial” type build, and Live Vibe is bespoke machining at a very high level. In other words, $2200 per shelf is easy for me to see in the Live Vibe… At $1700 each on Townshend, I feel the Live Vibe is reasonably priced and not “gougery”.
